The Galano Farm, has been able to enhance the cultivation of olives with ingenuity and skill, improving over the years, until it obtained the PDO - Protected Designation of Origin - recognition. Faithful to traditional canons, the cultivation goes well with the methods of "integrated pest management"; that is, it follows a series of procedures, regulated by total respect for the environment:

  • Fertilization is exclusively organic.
  • Harvesting is done manually with the help of mechanical facilitators.
  • Milling, which is done by mechanical procedures, is done on the same day to preserve the properties of the fruit.
  • Bottling takes place on-site-this arrangement, makes the final product superior as it is not subject to any factors related to displacement.

From a guaranteed-label olive comes an extra-virgin oil processed using the continuous pit extraction method: a system that, by preventing the oil from coming into contact with the air, safeguards its quality while maintaining its organoleptic characteristics.

Galano's Farm accepts the modern challenge, experimenting with new solutions in order to meet the demand of an increasingly complex and demanding market. Thus from the meeting of two excellent traditional products, citrus fruits and extra virgin olive oil, an innovative product was born, linked to the culinary trend in vogue in recent years: food seasoning, flavored with lemon or orange.
